Vice Chairperson – Asset Recovery and Property Retrieval Taskforce (AREPT)

Dr. Ranney B. Jackson is a seasoned public servant and policy expert with over 25 years of experience in public administration, finance, and governance. He currently serves as the Vice Chairperson of the Asset Recovery and Property Retrieval Taskforce (AREPT), where he supports strategic oversight in Liberia’s national effort to investigate and recover misappropriated public assets.

A native of Bong County, Dr. Jackson holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration with a specialization in Local Government Management and Sustainable Communities from Walden University. He also holds an MBA in Finance from Oklahoma City University and a BA in Management from the University of Liberia.

Dr. Jackson previously served as Superintendent of Bong County, Deputy Minister for Operations at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and a member of the National Transitional Legislative Assembly. He is widely recognized for his development leadership in Bong County, where he spearheaded infrastructure projects and education initiatives, including a scholarship program that benefited over 600 students.

With his unique specialization in local government policy, Dr. Jackson remains committed to advancing transparent and accountable governance across Liberia which has long suffered from the shackles of corruption.
