Hon. James M. Kolleh, Representative of Bong County District #2 and Chairman of the House Committee on Rules, Order, and Administration, recently traveled to Canada to participate in the commemoration of Liberia’s 178th Flag Day Celebration.
The visit came at the invitation of the Office of the Liberia Trade and Investment in Canada, which honored his role as a national leader committed to strengthening Liberia’s international partnerships. While in Canada, Hon. Kolleh joined the Liberian community for the symbolic raising of the Liberian flag, a ceremony that reaffirmed the deep connection between Liberia and its diaspora.
In addition to the Flag Day celebration, Hon. Kolleh held strategic discussions on investment opportunities with the Liberian Diaspora Commission and the Office of the Liberia Trade and Investment in Canada. These talks focused on expanding trade, promoting economic growth, and building stronger ties between Liberia and its diaspora communities.
During his time abroad, Hon. Kolleh encouraged the people of Bong County District #2 to remain engaged with his office through his Chief of Staff, Mr. Emmanuel Gatie, and the dedicated staff, ensuring continuity of service and communication with constituents.
Hon. James M. Kolleh has since returned to Liberia, bringing with him strengthened connections and renewed opportunities for collaboration that reflect his ongoing commitment to both his constituents and the nation at large.
